design as dialogues at pratt . . .

on september 25th, i had a design as dialogue talk about pratt institute’s industrial design department, future tense, namely our new sophomores class. . . we did this during their studio session on friday with their instructors for sophomore studio: jeanne pfordresher, jonathan thayer, patrick fenton, scott lundberg & willy schwenzfeier. i think we all learned something from each other & about design education in general: design as dialogue, matthew burger 09/25/09

a relatively recent design as dialogue guest from last autumn was jeff michael, product designer who lives/works in cambridge, massachusetts and also teaches in the industrial design program at wentworth institute of technology
