if your interested in industrial archaeology, i would encourage you to look at these wonderful duotone photographs from john bartelstone in his new book from this year, the brooklyn navy yard. the historic brooklyn navy yard, adjacent to the fort greene neighborhood, is one of the last remnants of brooklyn’s industrial supremacy. tomorrow tuesday, february 23rd, john bartelstone will be at the greenlight book store, 686 fulton street brooklyn, to discuss his photography and the history of the brooklyn navy yard with ted hamm. john bartlstone’s book is published by brooklyn’s own press, powerhouse books:
