2G13: the 20th anniversary of the faculty of art & design, weimar

twenty years ago, the late swiss sociologist, theorist and urbanist lucius burckhardt, was the founding dean of the then new department of art & design in weimar, (now bauhaus university) germany. in conjunction with his interests and research about landscape aesthetics, burckhardt founded the field of strollology or as it known in german, “promenadologie: die spaziergangswissenschaft.”
