the design of aesthetic, ceramic vessels involving concavity from swedish artist, eva hild are currently on exhibit at nancy margolis gallery, here in new york. she is a ceramic sculptor known for her large scale, organically shaped stoneware forms. (the ny times has described eva’s work as “astonishing” and proclaimed her “a new star in the ceramics firmament”) the exhibition closes in december on the 4th.
