the pollock-krasner house & study center was the home and studio of jackson pollock (1912-1956) and lee krasner (1908-1984), two of america’s foremost abstract expressionist painters. the last of their significant work sites, it was passed intact from Krasner’s estate to the stony brook foundation. the collections include the property itself (buildings and grounds), the contents of the artists’ home and studio, a selection of prints by pollock and krasner, and the study center research material. open for tours by appointment only. call 631 / 324-4929 for reservations and information. pollock-krasner house & study center . . .
