if you’re a form junkie, then you must see the current exhibit of marc newson’s work, entitled, transport, at the gagosian gallery on 21st and 10th avenue, where everthing looks like it’s moving, even when it isn’t. my favorite object in the exhibit is the biomega bicycle, but it’s also interesting to see newson’s form • radius of curvature vocabulary also applied to a powerboat, a plane, a jetpack concept, an urban automobile concept, a space plane prototype, a pair of shoes, et cetera . . .
