this is an invitation from our 17 id students, jeff kapec & yours truly for you to join us next tuesday, october 27th, 2009 at 5:30 pm in pratt studios, rooms 42 & 43, for our preliminary critique for making meaning . . .

the following students will be presenting their concepts & works in progress from their individual designs briefs & we will be discussing everything from electric motorcycles, to magic hats & ritual, to things you wear on your feet &/or your back, to how you move on all fours, to mobile puppet theater, to making something out of nothing &/or garbage, to streetscape interventions, to fashion as three dimensional abstraction, to design as it relates to pattern, to beautiful wireless speakers for the eyes & ears, to secret spaces, to domesticating energy production in your own home, to holistic retail shopping experiences, to just having fun by turning ideas on their head . . .
